Ringette PEI will be offering a Level 1 officials clinic in October. More details will be communicated soon!
The cost of the Level 1 clinic is $65 and is fully reimbursed by Rustico Ringette
2023 Course Info
Level 1 officiating course for new officials to register with Nicolle Hogan at nicolle@charlottetownringette.com.
A level 1 officials course will take place on Saturday November 25 with classroom session from 8-12pm and an ice component from 12:45-1:45pm at Cari.
For certified officials interested in taking this course again as a refresher please register by contacting Nicolle Hogan, however there will be no cost to these individuals to participate.
*Please note: The Level 1 course will only operate in the event there is sufficient interest.
A mandatory Level 2/3 refresher course for all existing officials will be held at Cari on Friday November 24 from 5:30-9:30pm. Please register by contacting Nicolle Hogan at nicolle@charlottetownringette.com. There will be no cost associated with this in person refresher course for existing officials.
Level 1 clinic This clinic will consist of an online component (to be completed prior to the classroom session), a classroom session, and on-ice session. Please bring skates and a helmet for the on-ice session.
In order to become an official, you must be 14 years old by December 31st of the current season.
Ringette PEI needs more officials- especially adults. Officials 18+ are needed for all U16/U19 & 18+ play and for our U16 & U19 Wave/Edge teams.
The organization needs more trained officials in order to meet the needs of the players as RPEI continues to grow. Please consider becoming an official this season!
NOTE- all officials need to register for clinics online at
www.officiatingringette.caIn order to register for the Level 1 clinic, you must complete an online pre-clinic session. New officials will need to "register" a profile. Once logged in, under the "status" tab, there should be a box for "Level 1 Preclinic". If you click "register", it should take you immediately to the pre-clinic online information. Once the preclinic is completed, you can then register for the Level 1 clinic under the "clinics" tab.
